Over the past several years, Sussex Montessori School has transformed a bold vision into a vibrant learning environment serving children and families across Sussex County.
With more than $14 million invested into building our permanent campus, we are now completing the final and most meaningful space — the SMS Community Center.
This space will serve as:

How Your Gift Will Be Used
As a charter school, our operating costs are supported by state and district funding, but we must independently raise all money needed for capital investments. The total construction costs are $600,000, but thanks to a generous grant from the Welfare Foundation, we need to raise $450,000.

Completing this renovation allows us to transform a beautiful wood-paneled barn into a fully accessible multi-use Community Center that will serve students, families, and the broader community for generations.
